Chapter 2: Kiss Me

Oh kiss me out of the bearded barley,
Nightly , beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You'll wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift you open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon's sparkling,
So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me , upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring , bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift you open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon's sparkling,
So kiss me
Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer

Ever wondered what you feel like doing when you're on a break or on leave? Shopping? Vacation? Clubbing? Hanging out? Or Sleeping? And when you execute the plan, do you want to do it alone or with company?

Well for a guy like me, I've done something in which I imagined doing so and it went according to plan and our favour. Why our? Hahaha. I didn't execute this plan by myself. I've planned this with my one and only true love. The next Princess Leia. The next Nefertari. My dear sweetheart, Rachel.

A brief history of my Girlfriend. We met at SMU on April 1st 2012 when we were submitting our application and it was the last day. Then I realized that I've no idea and forgotten how to pay the application fee. And Rachel was there. Followed by another Chinese girl. Not sure of who I should approach, God made a decision for me. Rachel. And another thing. Fear stopped me. But I decided to fight fear with guts and I asked her the question of how to pay the application fee. And she helped me.

From there, our friendship began. From Facebook chats, Handphone text and calls, to meeting for dinners. We brought out open communication, honesty and mutual feelings at times when we meet up or communicate on the phone. Another thing was Spirituality. Something we both strongly agree on. And so was Joy, Sadness, Jovialism(no such terminology--> hahaha!!!). Plus what I've mentioned on bringing out. We even exchanged gifts and wrote emails when Rachel was in ths states.

From there, our feelings for each other was almost questioned in our hearts and Rachel asked me to pray about it before we meet up to talk about something she's been pondering about. And it's the same ponder in my mind too. Hence, I went to have a chat with her face to face with a prayer and watchful eye from God.

And then, on August 3rd 2012, another important day for both of us. The day we confessed to each other. We were special friends at first. And now, Thanks to God's answer to both our prayers and answers, we both escalated from best friends to a life long couple. And I Thank God for this blessing.

That's why Rachel's not just my Girlfriend. But my future Life Partner, My Current Prayer Partner and the right one whom I've been searching for.

.

After applying for 2 days leave(13th and 14th September 2012, Thursday and Friday respectively) on Wednesday, I began thursday morning by jogging in the park while Rachel had to run some errands for her mum.

(Thursday)

We met in the afternoon to meet her dear mentor, Aunty Soon Lee and had lunch with her at Thomson Plaza'a Swensens. A wonderful lunch indeed. And a wonderful, warm hearted and inspiring mentor she turned out to be. I felt as if I was communicating with my long lost primary school teacher who almost resembled her a little. I also felt like an inner peace when I had a chat with her. It's like she's giving me an opportunity to confess to her my problems and she could offer me a great solution to my problems. Rachel. I don't mean to envy you. But you are blessed with a great mentor. Don't you agree, honey? :)

After that, we went to Yamaha music school at Thomson Plaza still as Rachel was looking for music books and checking out the prices of the Drum Kit and the Guitars. Then we went to Shop N Save at Khatib MRT station to some mini grocery shopping and guess what? Sarah made a guest appearance. Haha! It's good to see her smiling in peace.

Later, we took the train to Somerset and visited Centrepoint's Robinsons to look for Blazers and footwear. I won't forget the shiny silvery blazer which I wore at a shop called Domanchi. I hope I got the name of the shop right. And yes, we finally found the shop called Bread and Butter and managed to discover some Ed Hardy T-Shirts. But sad to say that the stock is very limited. Haiz.....Then we took a walk down to Plaza Singapura after having our dinner and visited Pedro to look for nice formal shoes. We even went to Cathay area to look for a shop that sells patterned designs of T-Shirts. A place where my CG mate Leon went to buy his T-Shirt once. Then we ended the day when we were romancing at the Bishan Park. I was lying down on Rachel's lap and felt as if time just froze for a few minutes. It's like an freezing point of our lives.

(Friday)

Started the day a little sad when my sister argued with me about not being at home with my family. But managed to meet Rachel and talk about it with her. After our conversation which ended with a positive outcome to it, I started to pick up my smile because of her. Thanks, sweety.

We began Friday by heading to Changi Airport to have lunch, followed by a Dessert at TCC. Delicious. Following that, we dropped by an Ang Mo Kio Jack's Place to collect a 50 Dollar Voucher so that I can make good use of it with Rachel on my birthday. Haha. That's the plan. And I love it when a plan comes together. Quoted from Hannibal Smith in A-Team.

We then headed to Marina Square's John Little and Raffles City's British India, Topman and other shops that sells expensive outfits. After all the sighseeing was done, we had dinner at Ang Mo Kio's McDonald(the one opposite Ang Mo Kio's KFC) and spent the entire night romancing again. This time round, it was at Ang Mo Kio Park.

Those were the two old great romantic days we spent together. Can't wait for a lof of great days coming soon. Hang in there, honey. I'll be planning for more. Pray Hard that time wil fly fast for my ORD. :)

And also, Thank you so much, Father in Heaven for everything. Amen :)

I'm looking forward to climb the relationship ladder with you in the near future and praying and believing that we are committed to our current relationship and one day, form a covenant under God's true and mighty Will. :)

And here's a verse in which I would like to share.

There are three things that amaze me
no, four things that I don’t understand:
how an eagle glides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman.

Proverbs 30:18-19
